About our Founder
The Cat’s Meow Web Design was founded in September of 2023 with a mission to deliver beautifully designed, functional websites that help businesses thrive in the digital age. Our founder, a proud Lamar University graduate, is a Beaumont, TX native and earned her B.S. in Communication in 2020. With a strong foundation in communication and marketing, she worked with various companies for a few years, honing her skills in web design, search engine optimization (SEO), and creative design. These experiences inspired her to take a leap of faith and start her own web design business to better serve clients with a personalized touch.
Rachel built this company on a foundation of creativity, experience, and a genuine love for helping businesses succeed. Whether designing a sleek modern site or crafting a brand-new online identity, our team combines technical expertise with customization and aesthetics to ensure every project exceeds expectations.
A cat lover at heart, Rachel has owned cats her entire life, finding joy and comfort in their quirky personalities and loving companionship, and currently owns Calpernia, a chunky black cat who is nine years old. Calpernia often provides inspiration and company during late-night creative sessions, adding a little extra magic to The Cat’s Meow Web Design.
In her spare time, Rachel likes to spend time with her family, try new restaurants with her husband, and go to the gym.
